Yukimasa Kishino (岸野 幸正 Kishino Yukimasa?) (born October 21, 1955) is a Japanese actor, voice actor and narrator from Edogawa, Tokyo, Japan. He is currently affiliated with Aoni Production.

He is also active in the theatrical entertainment field and is the chairman of his own theatrical group, Gekidan Kishinogumi. Some of the members of this group include fellow voice actors Kujira and Masaaki Okura.

He voices the main antagonist Dr. Warumon along the various media that comprise the TwinBee series, having especial prominence along the TwinBee PARADISE subseries.

Career[]

Yukimasa Kishino is an actor and voice actor. He is known for his work in Akira (1988), Dragon Ball Z (1989) and Dragon Ball Z: The World's Strongest (1990). He is also known for voicing the character Cao Cao in the Dynasty Warriors and Warriors Orochi series.

He attended the Faculty of Letters at Teikyo University, but quit halfway to pursue a theatrical career. He was also a member of the now disbanded theatrical musical group, Gekidan Basara, and is currently the founder and chairman of the theatrical group, Gekidan Kishinogumi. When he isn't voice acting, Kishino is usually organizing and choreographing performances for it. He also boxes as a hobby.

Kishino's trademark with his fans is his distinguished mustache, which they joke also seems to be a prominent trait for many of his characters. A few of his voice roles include Cassius Bright in the The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky franchise, and Hyoue Kuroda in Detective Conan. He is also the Japanese voice for The Great Prince of the Forest in Disney's Bambi and the voice for the alien father in Hayashibara's Telehose commercials.

One of his most famous voicing roles is the character Mercenary Tao (also known as Tao Pai Pai) in the Dragon Ball Z TV series and video games (among other characters), having taken the role after the late Chikao Ōtsuka, who voiced the character in the original Dragon Ball series from the eighties. He has also taken over roles from the late Yoshito Miyamura.
