TwinBee Dungeon (ツインビーダンジョン TsuinBī Danjon?) is a roguelike role-playing game for mobile devices released on May 14, 2004, exclusively in Japan on the Konami Net DX service. The game is themed on the TwinBee universe (being the thirteenth entry in the series) and is a spinoff of the Mystery Dungeon series.

Due to Konami Net DX closing service on April 30, 2016, this game is no longer available.

Gameplay[]

A roguelike role-playing adventure where the player takes on the role of Light, a boy pilot who embarks on a mission to explore many dungeons full of powerful enemies and traps –but also many useful items– in order to solve the various incidents that lately have been occurring in Donburi Island. He'll do this by piloting TwinBee, a new android ship created by the eminent scientist, Dr. Cinnamon. Dungeons are explored from a top-down perspective.

While exploring the dungeons, the player will collect staple items from the TwinBee series, such as bells and fruits. Likewise, the game also features new mechanics inspired by these elements, such as a farm where the player can grow any bells they collected in the dungeons, making them develop unique powers.

The island also counts with a shop where the player can buy various gear for TwinBee and prepare him before entering a dungeon. Players can make use of the "Town App" to equip new gear on TwinBee, as well as the "Dungeon App" to search for new dungeons to explore.

Dungeons are randomly generated and they change their internal structure every time they are entered, meaning that no game is the same as the last one.
