Synopsis[]

Pastel has been reduced in size after eating a batch of cookies containing a formula made by Dr. Mardock. There's little time before the "Miss Donburi" contest starts, and the cloud bells, which have the necessary power for restoring Pastel to her normal size, have been stolen by the legendary island ghost. The TwinBee Team sorts to retrieve them before time runs out!

Plot[]

The episode starts with Pastel, Light and Madoka at the Coffee Fantasian, where Pastel is crying because she doesn't think she can win the "Miss Donburi" contest that will take place the next day. Madoka asks her to try the cookies she has just baked to see if she should put them on the menu. The kids eventually leave the shop and Dr. Mardock asks his granddaughter if she has seen a potion he made earlier, to which Madoka replies that she hasn't, and that knowing him, it's probably one of his usual weird creations.

Meanwhile, Dr. Warumon is planning his next scheme inside his laboratory, which also involves the pageant contest somehow, while his ZakoBees make preparations on his newest invention.

The next morning, Pastel and WinBee see in horror they have been reduced to about one eighth of their normal size. Light, Dr. Cinnamon and the rest of the team are perplex about what could have caused this. The phone starts ringing at that moment; it's Madoka, who asks them if either Pastel or WinBee had suffered any physical changes since their visit to the coffee shop. It turns out that Dr. Mardock's potion somehow got mixed with Madoka's batch of cookies from the previous day and that's the reason why Pastel and WinBee reduced in size.

Dr. Mardock tells them that he can easily revert the effect with his potion gun, which runs on "bell power". However, they soon discover there are no clouds in the sky, from where the bells are extracted. Using a drone, they find a few clouds far in the distance, but the device is destroyed by what appears to be a beam of energy shot from the place where the clouds are. Using the laboratory's computer, Light discovers that the attack actually came from what appears to be a castle sitting atop the clouds. Dr. Cinnamon recognizes it as the "Spirit Castle" and he then proceeds to tell the tale behind it and its relation to Donburi Island. 800 years ago, apart from Donburi there was another island, and both were governed by the same queen. However, she ambitioned to be the most beautiful woman in the world and to be "higher" than anyone else; and so, she made her castle –as well as the entire island it sat upon– to float up in the sky.

Learning this, Light, Pastel and Mint make their way toward the floating island aboard their android ships. There are only three hours left before the "Miss Donburi" contest starts, so they must make haste. As they approach the island, they're also received by a barrage of energy beams. Fortunately, they're able to evade the attacks and manage to land on the island, where they're astonished to find a beautiful kingdom settled on it, along with a gorgeous palace.

Their sightseeing doesn't last long, though, as they're soon attacked by a mysterious man who starts shooting lighting bolts at them. Fortunately, TwinBee manages to dodge all of his attacks and subdues him by using his multiplying ability and smacking him with his trusty Pico Hammer, making him fall into a fountain below which makes his electric body to short circuit. At the end of the encounter, the entire team falls through an opening on the floor which takes them to the place where all the bells are being processed.

Having acquired the necessary bells for the potion gun, they attempt to head back to Donburi, but they soon realize they're trapped inside the processing plant. An even stranger individual then comes to their encounter and starts attacking them by blowing powerful winds from his mouth. During this attack, GwinBee and Mint are swept away from the rest of the team. Before the mysterious man can unleash a second attack, TwinBee uses the reduced WinBee as a throwing weapon and tosses her with all his strength at him, making him burst and fly out of the room like a deflating balloon.

Right after this encounter, a secret door opens before them, which leads them inside an inner sanctum with a notably fetid odor. Inside this chamber, they find a sarcophagus containing an old and rotten corpse. Suddenly, a series of conduits on the wall start injecting the mortuary box with energy and the cadaver then turns into a beautiful maiden.

The woman stands up and presents herself as Queen Juliana. She amicably explains that she resurrects every 400 years and that in order to preserve her beauty she needs all the bell power she can gather. However, since her present resurrection is complete, she tells them not to worry anymore and that all the clouds will be returned to the skies of Donburi soon; and then she returns to her slumber.

The kids realize that the contest is about to begin and comment about it. When the queen hears the words "Miss Donburi", she wakes up again, although this time in a rage, as she won't accept anyone else but herself to be declared the most beautiful woman in the world. The team is then thrown off the island via a magical trap door that suddenly appears below them and the queen's forces resume the hostilities against them. Thick metallic armor layers start rising from everywhere around the castle, covering it completely, and all of the island's cannons are then deployed.

During the ensuing fight, the team soon realize that trying to fight back is futile, as each time they destroy a cannon, an identical one takes its place. Meanwhile, Mint and GwinBee find the island's main core, where all of its energy is controlled. Mint obliviously removes the core's regulator ring, inadvertently making the machinery unable to control the ensuing power surge and making the castle to explode.

Having acquired the bell power they needed, the team makes haste to the "Miss Donburi" contest. They arrive just in time of Pastel's announcement and quickly deliver the bells to Dr. Mardock to fuel the potion gun. The scientist then attempts to shoot Pastel with it from the audience, but Madoka pushes him and makes him miss his target, hitting one of the other contestants instead and making her to increase in size to gigantic proportions, ripping her clothes in the process. Mardock then attempts to shoot a second time, although this time he deliberately shoots at another contestant, producing the same results. Finally, he is able to hit Pastel the third time around, returning her to her normal size, but same as with the other contestants, ripping her clothes and appearing completely naked in front of the audience, although this actually makes her to be declared the winner of the contest.

It's at this point when Light finally reveals the real reason why he had been so supportive and eager for Pastel to win the contest, and that's because the prize is a brand new motorcycle; and since Pastel doesn't know how to ride one, he assumed she would let him have it. Enraged by this, Pastel picks up the potion gun and starts shooting at him, hitting other people and objects with each miss, ruining the motorcycle in the process and finally hitting Light in the end.

In the final scene, the fate of Queen Juliana is revealed, where she is seen barely managing to make it out alive from the ocean. On the beach, she is met by Mint and GwinBee, and the former takes out the regulator ring he removed from the floating island's power core and places it on her head as a manner of beauty pageant crown, much to Juliana's dismay.
