History[]
In an attempt to retrieve the bells that were stolen by Queen Juliana's forces, the TwinBee Team set their way to the Spirit Castle high above in the sky. When they land on the floating island, they are astonished to find a beautiful kingdom settled on it, along with a gorgeous palace.
Their sightseeing doesn't last long, however, as they're soon attacked by Raijin, a mysterious man clad in medieval-esque half armor and one of the two commanders of Queen Juliana. He asks them why are they trying to invade the Queen's castle, to which TwinBee retorts why they stole the bells in the first place. Not feeling like he should be giving them any explanations for their actions, Raijin starts shooting lighting bolts at them. Fortunately, TwinBee manages to dodge all of his attacks and subdues him by using his multiplying ability and smacking him with his trusty Pico Hammer, making him fall into a fountain below which makes his electric body to short circuit.
Raijin reappears later alongside Fūjin, controlling the Spirit Castle's armaments against the TwinBee Team under Queen Juliana's orders. On their part, GwinBee and Mint wander into a room containing the island's power core and the latter removes its regulator ring, inadvertently making the whole island to explode.
According to Queen Juliana's description in TwinBee PARADISE in Donburi Shima, both Fūjin and Raijin survived the explosion and are currently working elsewhere.
Appearance[]
Raijin is a tall and strong man clad in futuristic medieval-esque half armor. His helmet features a black single line visor, a pink and fluffy plume brush ornament on the top, and what appears to be two bolts on each side of the head, near the ears (possibly acting as electricity conductors). His armor only consists of the helmet, chest piece, gauntlets and boots, and the rest of his body is clad in a yellow full bodysuit. His armor features two big and yellow spheres on the shoulders from which he can shoot lightning bolts at enemies.

Trivia[]
- He is named after Raijin, the Japanese god of lightning, thunder and storms and one of the eldest Shinto gods. In Japanese art, this deity is often depicted together with Fūjin, the god of the wind.
- The design of his helmet resembles that of the science fiction character RoboCop and is possibly a reference to him.
