Parallel Dish (パラレルディッシュ, Parareru Disshu) is a recurring boss in the TwinBee series. He is one of King Spice's four commanders.

Description

Parallel Dish quickly ascends from the ground (arcade version) while summoning randomly appearing wheels to attack the player. While there may be a lot of these wheels onscreen at a time, there are never so many that the player would be overwhelmed. Parallel Dish bounces up and down more than it moves from side to side.

• TwinBee (arcade - 1985): First appearance of Parallel Dish in the series. Appears as the second boss of the game.
• TwinBee Da!! (GB - 1990): Second boss of the "Boss Rush" from Stage 5 (Stage 4 in the PSP remake). In the remake, he fires energy bullets.
• TwinBee Returns (PCE CD - 1994): Second boss in this unlockable "boss rush"-like game hidden in Tokimeki Memorial.

Trivia

• The way the drone assistants appear in TwinBee (especially the arcade version) and how they head toward the player remind a lot to the Zubs Rush from the Gradius series.
