Nobuo Tobita (飛田 展男 Tobita Nobuo?) (born November 6, 1959) is a Japanese Voice actor and narrator from Ibaraki Prefecture. He is currently affiliated with by Arts Vision.

He is most known for the roles of Kamille Bidan in Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, Albert Heinrich/004 in Cyborg 009 (2001), and Sueo Maruo in Chibi Maruko-chan. His debut in voice acting was with the role of Bob in the 1982 anime television series Cybot Robotchi. He has also voiced many characters for the story CDs in Sound Horizon.

He voiced Greed, the main antagonist of the PlayStation role-playing game, TwinBee RPG.

Career[]

Nobuo Tobita graduated from Mito City Sannomaru Elementary School, Ibaraki Junior and Senior High School.

During his second year in high school, Tobita used to read manga aloud along with some friends that shared the same hobby, which slowly traduced in his interest of following a voice acting career. He also wanted to become a school teacher until junior high school, and after graduating from high school, he moved to Tokyo from Ibaraki and entered the Department of History, Faculty of Letters, Komazawa University. During college, he became part of the Broadcasting Study Group. When he was in his second year, he dropped out of the university and told his parents that he wanted to become a voice actor.

He studied in the training class attached to the theater company NLT. He worked in Voice Arts and became a member of Arts Vision.

He made his debut as a voice actor playing the voice of the police radio in The Bell Rings in the Dark, and made his anime debut as Bob in Robby the Rascal (1982). Later on, he became the regular voice of Ken Wakashimazu in Captain Tsubasa (1983), and starred in Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam for the first time in 1985.
