Fūjin (風神, lit. "Wind God") is a character in the TwinBee series. He is one of the two commanders of Queen Juliana. He has the ability to inhale a great quantity of air and store it in his body to then blow it out with great force against his enemies. He appears as a minor antagonist in the OVA TwinBee: WinBee's ⅛ Panic.
He was voiced by Hirohiko Kakegawa.
History[]
During their visit to the Spirit Castle high above in the sky to retrieve the bells that had been stolen by Queen Juliana's forces, and after having defeated the first of her commanders, the TwinBee Team arrive to an underground plant where the bells are being processed. Having acquired the necessary bells to fuel the potion gun that will make Pastel and WinBee return to their normal size, they attempt to head back to Donburi Island, although they soon realize they are trapped inside the processing plant.
At that moment, Fūjin, a weird and lean looking individual and the Queen's other commander, comes to their encounter, blocking their path; and without even saying a word, he suddenly starts sucking in a great quantity of air through his mouth, which makes his body inflate to great proportions, and then blows it all out at the heroes, sweeping GwinBee and Mint away to an unknown location. He then prepares to unleash a second attack in the same manner, but TwinBee quickly grabs the reduced WinBee and throws her with all his strength at him, piercing his body and making him fly out of the room like a deflating balloon.
Fūjin reappears later alongside Raijin, controlling the Spirit Castle's armaments against the TwinBee Team under Queen Juliana's orders. On their part, GwinBee and Mint wander into a room containing the island's power core and the latter removes its regulator ring, inadvertently making the whole island to explode.
According to Queen Juliana's description in TwinBee PARADISE in Donburi Shima, both Fūjin and Raijin survived the explosion and are currently working elsewhere.
Appearance[]
Fūjin has dark skin and accentuated African-like features. He fashions green hair combed in an exaggerated pompadour style and wears a pink scarf, white gloves, and a blue and yellow bodysuit with a pink fluffy button on the chest area, giving the whole apparel a sort of clown or jester appearance.
He is quite tall and has a very lean body complexion. However, when he sucks in a great quantity of air, his body inflates to grotesque proportions, making him look extremely obese. Apparently, his body is very elastic to be able to perform this function, and due to this, it is also very fragile and can be easily pierced when he has gathered too much air.

- He is named after Fūjin, the Japanese god of the wind and one of the eldest Shinto gods. In Japanese art, this deity is often depicted together with Raijin, the god of lightning, thunder and storms.
