Some of the most advanced settlements of Planet Mel can be found in this level, high up in the sky and standing on artificially floating islands, which due to the buildings' designs, seem to be the planet's main military defense system.

- This stage settings, as well as its name, was inspired by Hayao Miyazaki's work, Laputa: Castle in the Sky. This was further indicated by the name given to the music, "Sky Fortress Laputa".
